Were there two meteorites?

The meteorite that killed the dinosaurs might have split into pieces. One big fragment hit the Earth a few days after the first big one, these scientists say. (& here too)

It made a Tsunami because it crashed into the sea. The wave might have been about 500 metres high! And created a central jet of water about 2000 metres high!
